I started my professional career as a soldier in the United States Army where I served for nearly ten years. I
worked as a Telecommunications Center Supervisor and maintained a Top Secret SBI clearance with SCI and Polygraph. I
earned an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Mechanical Design from Clayton College & State University in Georgia
after being honorably discharged. I have over twenty-five years of experience as a mechanical designer. In addition, I am
highly proficient in the following software applications: AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, Creo, Adobe, Pix Edit, MS Office suite,
Windows operating systems and Lotus Notes.
I have a strong work ethic, the ability to handle multiple projects at once, and I am willing to work late to
meet project timelines. I’ve used my expertise to create product concepts, drawings, bill of materials, material
specifications, installation design plan packages (IDP), technical data packages (TDP), physical configuration audits (PCA),
and product manufacturing. I have working knowledge of MIL SPEC, ANSI, SAE, and geometric dimensioning & tolerance
standards. I also have knowledge of DoD standards and regulations to include OPM requirements, and DFAR.
